Professor Olinga Ta’eed PhD FIoD is Council Member and Expert Advisor to the Chinese Ministry of Commerce’s “China E-Commerce Blockchain Committee” responsible for growth to US$ 100 trillion and maintaining its current 70% global market share. He is also Head of the EU PROCUREMENT FORUM Social Value & Transparency in Supply Chains group. He is Chief Editor of peer reviewed academic journal Frontiers in Blockchain with 453 editors, Social Value and Intangibles Review with 125 editors, and UK government sponsored Efficiency Exchange; in 2019 he will launch the peer reviewed industry journal The Token: Cryptocurrency, Value and Values with New York publisher Peter Lang. He is director of the not-for-profit Centre for Citizenship, Enterprise and Governance which is the world’s leading think tank on the movement of value (measurement, transaction and delivery) with over 125,000 members. He is Visiting Professor in Blockchain at Birmingham City University, and previously Professor in Social Enterprise and Northampton University. He conducted the UK’s first (and only) ICO in 2017 with FCA guidance, the Seratio Token focusing on Non-Financial Assets. He is currently preparing to launch the UK£ 210 million Seratio DTL Open Bank, regulated in London by PRA and FCA. He was also the Regional Strategic Buyer for Nestle’ Equatorial Africa where he looked after factories in DRC, Zimbabwe and Kenya.

Terry Tudor is a director of SusConnect Ltd. In the past two years, he has led on stakeholder engagement for the onboarding of farmers and producers globally, including from Colombia, India, Peru and Brazil. He has over 13 years’ consultancy and academic experience in the area of sustainability and resource efficiency. He has worked on projects in the UK and abroad (e.g. for the UK Government and the EU Commission). He has worked in the UK, Italy and Barbados.


Bitange Ndemo a Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Nairobi’s Business School. His research centres on the link between ICTs and small and medium enterprises with emphasis on how ICTs influence economic development in Africa. Prof. Ndemo is the Chairman of Kenya’s Distributed Ledgers and Artificial Intelligence Taskforce that will develop a road map for the country’s digital transformation. He is also an advisor and Board member to several organizations including Safaricom one of the leadingtelecommunication company in Africa, MPESA Foundation, Research ICT Africa that is based in South Africa. Besides having been a Permanent Secretary of Kenya’s Ministry of Information and Communication where he was credited with facilitating many transformative ICT projects, he is a Senior Advisor to UN’s Global Pulse (Big Data initiatives) and the UNCDF’s Better than Cash Alliance. He is an Open Data/Big Data evangelist and dedicated to simplification (visualization) of data for ordinary citizens to consume. Elton Greeve, Managing Director of EMG Agri-Solutions, has 23 years’ experience in the agriculture sector. Greeve’s in-depth knowledge, expertise and partnerships with organised agriculture, farmers and stakeholders in the sector informs the methodology of the core business of EMG Agri-Solutions.

Faith Obafemi is a tech lawyer who specializes in blockchain, cryptocurrency and emerging technologies. Faith brings six years of legal expertise to help projects navigate the crypto-regulations and compliance maze. She does this through her consulting outfit: Future-Proof Intelligence (FINT). She and her team recently made contributions and recommendations to the Blockchain and DLT section of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Payment System Vision 2030. She is also the chairperson of a committee currently developing a national blockchain policy document for Nigeria.
As an aspiring legal engineer/technologist, she automates legal documents, integrated with smart contracts, on the OpenLaw, a platform built on the Ethereum blockchain. Faith is a Research Fellow at the African Academic Network on Internet Policy (AANOIP), where she makes in-depth research on the intricacies in blockchain and law. Faith is a Decentralized Justice Fellow with Kleros, a decentralized justice platform, where she is researching on the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) on the blockchain and recommending Kleros as a dispute resolution layer.


Rebecca Asseh is a blockchain and cryptocurrency writer. She also doubles as a tech writer and teaches about cryptocurrency in pidgin as a means of educating the masses about the 4th revolution.
In a bid to aid the understanding of crypto, she worked briefly as an On-Air Personality for CryptoRadio 24, teaching about cryptocurrency in pidgin.
She has written for crypto publications such as IoTgadgets, CoinGeek, Cryptocoremedia, Coinfomania, Todaysgazette and CryptoTVplus.
Currently, Rebecca spends her time investigating the benefits of blockchain and emerging technologies to Africa.


Andrew’s current focus is on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and related Data Science with sources such as IoT devices ingested into AWS AI/ML and analytics services. I also have certifications in Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT, a.k.a. Blockchain) and Graph Databases (Specifically Neo4j).

Jennifer Tran conceptualizes and develops blockchain applications in trade compliance and freight documentation as part of the CryptoChicks Hatchery Program. Customs Speed, the working title of the project, is a blockchain-AI solution to store and ensure the accuracy and authenticity of the freight customs documents.
Prior to winning two bounties and overall second place in the CryptoChicks Hackathon, Jennifer led operations for the Anheuser Busch account at C.H. Robinson, the largest third-party logistics provider in North America and fifth in the world. In addition, she supported the sales process and secured five deals in various verticals in their North American Surface Transportation division.
After working at C.H. Robinson, she further expanded her skills in development and joined a local consulting company as a software developer. She worked on production support and support business intelligence analytics for one of the largest travel co-ops in the world. She is well-versed in HTML/CSS, ColdFusion, Javascript, and MS SQL.
In addition to working on legacy systems at work, she pursues blockchain development as one of her core passions in professional development. Kihumulo Grace Patrick is the Managing Partner of Grick Ltd and the Executive Director of Teaching and Learning Enhancement at Kepler Rwanda, with over 8 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management in industries such as higher education, NGO, consulting and service. Professor Dr. Karsten Machholz has been appointed Professor for Strategic Procurement and Supply Chain Management by the University of Applied Sciences Wuerzburg- Schweinfurt in 2012. His areas of research are Digital Transformation, agile Risk management, Corporate Social Responsibility and Blockchain technology and its impacts on global supply chains. He has presented the results of his researches at various conferences in the US, Europe and Australia.
Dr. Machholz has gained more than 20 years of experiences in the chemical, strategic consulting and pharma sector, recently as Member of the Board of a biotech start-up in Switzerland

Rose is the CEO & Founder of Rova Digital Ltd, an award-winning digital house based in Nairobi, Kenya. Driven by the vision “an information-integrated world” Rova Digital delivers projects focused on connecting different information points on user-centric platforms using both the web and mobile technologies. Projects successfully developed include the SheTrades web and mobile platform – which is a platform connecting 3 Million women-owned businesses by 2021 as part of delivering on the sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Rose received an MBA from the Missouri State University and has a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nairobi. She is passionate about using technology for impact.

Rose is currently leading Rova Digital in implementing a number of projects integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning and looking to integrate blockchain and cryptocurrency.
